Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — From the looks of it, Gilas Pilipinas will make mince meat of Kuwait when both teams clash on Friday (September 25) in the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship in Changsha, China.
Gametime is set at 4:45 p.m.
Kuwait opened its campaign with a blowout loss to Hong Kong, 87-50, followed by a 90-69 drubbing at the hands of Palestine on Wednesday (September 23).

If those are any indications, the fancied Filipinos might head into the next round of the biennial meet with a 2-1 win-loss record.
Despite that, Gilas is not expected to treat its next foes with kid gloves following an opening day debacle.
Gilas just redeemed itself from a heart-wrenching 75-73 loss to Palestine, a team playing for the first time in FIBA Asia, by asserting its mastery of Hong Kong, 101-50.
