Zamboanga City (CNN Philippines) — The city government of Zamboanga is offering a P200,000 reward for whoever can provide information that may lead to the capture of a suspect in a bus explosion that killed one and injured 34 others.
Zamboanga City Police Office spokesperson Sr. Inspector Joel Tuttuh said on Friday (September 18) that the offer was agreed upon after a meeting between local officials, police, and Task Group Zamboanga.
The police had also prepared a cartographic sketch of the suspect based on eyewitnesses accounts.
Police remained looking into a video footage from a closed circuit television camera which reportedly contained images of the suspect within the vicinity of the blast minutes before the crime.
The number of casualties has climbed to 34, according to police.
The fatality was identified as 11-year old Fatima Imbraida.
