Ormoc City (CNN Philippines) — The Liberal Party lineup in Ormoc for the 2016 elections are complete, said Ormoc City Councilor Vince Rama.
According to Rama, incumbent Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez will run for congresswoman of the 4th District of Leyte next year.
Her husband, actor Richard Gomez, will run again for mayor of Ormoc City. Gomez, who lost the mayoral race in 2013, will run alongside incumbent Ormoc City Vice Mayor Leo Carmelo Locsin Jr.
Meanwhile, six incumbent city councilors under the Liberal Party will seek the same position next year. They are City Councilors Vince Rama, Benjamin Pongos, Tomas Serafica, Gerardo Penserga, Rolando Villasencio at Mario Rodriguez.
Rama said there are four more members that will run since 10 city councilors are required, but they have decided not to reveal their names yet.
The lineup can still change, Rama added, before the filing of candidacy in October.
For the meantime, however, this is the lineup his party has decided on.
