Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Roll out the red carpet for the King has arrived.
Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James arrived at 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday (August 19) for the Nike Rise program.
In his second visit in the country, the four-time MVP will hold a press conference in the morning before meeting his fans at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday (August 20).
Nike Rise is a developmental program that aims to teach street basketball players the rudiments of the game and develop their skills.
James, who is fresh from his promotional tour’s first leg in China, will be in Manila until Friday.
The two-time champion first set foot on Philippine soil in 2013 where he participated in a scrimmage featuring the country’s top college stars and Gilas Pilipinas cagers.
