Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James broke silence on social media for the first time on Wednesday PHT since the 2015 National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs.
“It hurt to lose. I’ve been in a funk lately, but this… this is what motivates me to do what I do,” James said in a Facebook post.
“I’m not satisfied… I’m not happy with the way things turned out… I PROMISE to get better.”
James fell short of bringing an NBA championship to the city of Cleveland, but he received praise for the way he carried an undermanned Cavaliers team.
Playing without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love against the Warriors required James to produce big numbers for the Cavs.

In the finals, James became the first player in NBA history to lead both teams in key statistics in the finals with averages of 35.8 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 8.8 assists.
The way James carried the Cavs was unprecedented, and the scary thing is, he plans to get even better.
Drawing inspiration from his own children and the fans of Cleveland, we can only wait and see whether or not James can make good on his promise to become even better on the court.
