Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) — Basketball and volleyball are two sports in the Southeast Asian Games that most Filipinos will be keeping tabs on.
Alyssa Valdez, who was the country’s flag bearer during the opening cermony, will lead the cast of the national women’s volleyball squad which also has Aby Marano, Rachel Anne Daquis, and Dindin Santiago-Manabat, among others.

Meanwhile, the Philippine men’s basketball team, or widely known as the Gilas Cadets, will be spearheaded by the likes of Mac Belo, Baser Amer, Kiefer Ravena, and Marcus Douthit.
