House SALN released: Billionaire Pacquiao tops list, only 3 are not millionaires

CNN Philippines — The House of Representatives released on Thursday the summary of the statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) of its members.

Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao remained as the richest member of the lower house with a net worth of P1.6 billion.

Pacquiao’s declared personal properties amounted to P734 million, his total assets at P1.8 billion, while P155 million he declared as liabilities.

House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. placed second with P921 million, while Ilocos Norte Rep. Imelda Marcos sits at third with P917 million.

Rounding out the top ten are:

Alfredo Benitez: P845 million

Julio Ledesma: P822 million

Emmeline Aglipay and Mark Villar: P689 million

Ferdinand Romualdez: P474 million

Joel Duavit: P317 million

the late Enrique Cojuangco: P220 million

Alex Advincula: P203 million

Anakpawis Rep. Fernando L. Hicap had the lowest declared SALN with P95,572.65.

Only two other solons were non-millionaires: Kalinga Rep. Abigail Ferriol with P735,000 and Abakada Rep. Jonathan de la Cruz with P850,000.

Members of the House of Representative are classified under salary grade 31.
