NBA: Buzzer-beater from James lifts Cavs in Game 4; Clippers dominate Rockets for 3-1 lead

LeBron James led the charge for the Cavs as they level the series 2-2 after a game-winning shot at the buzzer.

(CNN Philippines) — Derrick Rose sank the game-winner in Game 3. Today, it was LeBron James’ turn.

James struck with his own buzzer-beater to give the Cleveland Cavaliers an 86-84 win over the Chicago Bulls, tying the series at 2-2 in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Eastern Conference semifinals on Monday PHT (May 11).

James finished with 25 points – including the game-winner – and added 14 rebounds and eight assists for the Cavaliers, who also got double-digit scoring from Tristan Thompson, Timofey Mozgov, Kyrie Irving, and J.R. Smith.

Rose once again paced the Bulls with 31 points and Jimmy Butler added 19 in the loss.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers blew out the Houston Rockets, 128-95, behind a solid all-around team performance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the Western Conference semifinals.

DeAndre Jordan, who set an NBA playoff record of 28 free throw attempts in a single half, led the scoring for the Clippers with 26 points and 17 rebounds.

Blake Griffin finished with 21 points, while Chris Paul chipped in with 15 points and 12 assists.

James Harden powered the Rockets with 21 points and eight rebounds.
