(CNN Philippines) — The Philippine National Railways (PNR) is conducting an investigation Wednesday (April 29) after one of its trains got derailed past 3:00 p.m injuring six passengers.
Police from the cities of Makati and Taguig have also secured the area to prevent residents from approaching the accident site.
The cause of the accident has yet to be determined, but witnesses said that the train was running beyond the usual speed.
The injured passengers were rushed to the Taguig Pateros District Hospital.
The train got derailed along the Skyway Magallanes exit.
