(CNN Philippines) — For Filipinos abroad, keeping with Holy Week traditions at home remains an important expression of faith.

With this in mind, the Catholic Bishop’s Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) launched in 2010 the Visita Iglesia Online, a website geared toward Filipinos living and working overseas — as well as those who are ill and unable to leave home.
To date, more than 300,000 people have visited the site.
The website features a section where several churches around the country are highlighted. Visitors to the site are given a short history of these churches as well as the places where they are located.

Catholics wanting to take part in the Stations of the Cross but are unable to do via the traditional Visita Iglesia, may do it through the website as a guide is available for them.
Videos of Catechesis, audio recordings of the pasyon, and other resources are also available to online pilgrims.
