BINI’s ‘Cherry on Top’ hits 2M views
Metro Manila, Philippines – P-pop girl group BINI has passed a new milestone after the music video of its newest track “Cherry on Top” hit two million views in less than 24 hours.
The song is the girl group’s latest offering since the release of “Talaarawan” EP in March.
Laced with vibrant colors and an uplifting beat, “Cherry On Top” aims to propel BINI to the global stage with its full-English lyrics.
In a June 11 media conference ahead of a concert that capped the month, the P-pop stars said they are committed “to be going for more” amid their stardom.
“We’re so grateful that this has happened and we’ll continue to be going for more, beating standards that we put out there,” said BINI Mikha.
Jhoanna, the group’s leader, also admitted the P-pop girls did not expect their career to flourish over the past few months.
BINI has been consistently dominating music charts with 7.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify as of July 11. Its summer craze “Pantropiko” has already surpassed the 100-million mark in the music streaming platform.
Just last week, four of its songs entered the inaugural Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart.
The group is staging regional and global concerts, and is set to conquer the Big Dome on October 4.
