Metro Manila, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared a number of holidays in several municipalities for the last two months of 2024.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, Malacañang issued a series of proclamations authorized by the President through Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin:

+ November 8, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Municipality of Tanay, Province of Rizal

+ November 12, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the City of Valenzuela

+ November 15, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Province of Oriental Mindoro

+ November 15, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the City of Borongan, Province of Eastern Samar

+ November 22, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the City of Palayan, Province of Nueva Ecija

+ November 22, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Municipality of Itogon, Province of Benguet

+ November 22 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Municipality of Tublay, Province of Benguet

+ November 23, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Province of Benguet

+ November 25, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Municipality of Marasugan, Province of Davao de Oro

+ November 26, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the City of Dasmariñas, Province of Cavite

+ November 28 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Municipality of Piñan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte

+ November 28, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the Province of Sarangani

+ December 5, 2024, Special Non-working Day in the City of Palayan, Province of Nueva Ecija

Meanwhile, Marcos also declared the second week of October as “National Myopia Consciousness Week”, and every 19th of the same month as “Transport Cooperative Day”.

The President also proclaimed December as the “Philippine Architecture Festival - National Architecture Month”.

Marcos earlier issued a list of holidays for 2025.
